Set in the summer of 1852 in the village of Kengis, Northern Sweden, the series follows the young Sami boy-Jussi and his mentor, the newly appointed revivalist Pastor, as they investigate multiple-killings of young girls。一场意外打破了五口之家的幸福生活。母亲临终前忍痛将弟妹送出去寄养，为了大女儿减轻负担。并交代林子沫长大后要带弟弟妹妹八月十五来自己坟前吃一顿团圆饭！谁曾想，养父母怕林家纠缠，带着两弟妹搬家！林子沫失去了弟妹的消息，十五年一直不停的再寻找！。本片以第一视角叙述我国曲艺大师高凤山先生的故事，着重讲述他创立高派表演艺术的艰辛岁月和经历，并且成功把以前的天桥撂地，数来宝艺人单漆跪地的表演方式彻底改革，他的曲艺作品，他的教学精神无疑是我国浩瀚艺术中浓墨重彩的一笔，是曲艺界的魂宝，至今影响世人。。
