神医元默与燕雀二人原本在凌华山编撰医书，研究疑难杂症，但一场莫名的病症打破了他们平静的生活。为研究出此病的救治方法，元默带着燕雀下山了。在这期间，一个名叫万刃阁的组织横空出世，圣子云定与圣女云止水声称带来了治病的圣水，并在四处分发中成功笼络了民心，一举成名。然而，元默研究后发现，所谓的圣水并不能根治此病，只是可以缓解病痛。与此同时，他也逐渐发现，此病竟是一种故意投放的剧毒。彼时，万刃阁乘风而起，教众已遍布各地，云定与云止水二人开始争夺教主之位，而燕雀竟然也与万刃阁有着说不清的关系。燕雀的真实身份是什么？万刃阁究竟有着怎样的目的？元默又会如何解开层层谜团，救治众生？。Four friends come to an old, abandoned factory in Lower Silesia, where their friend went missing a year ago.
