二十世纪90年代末的哈尔滨，小青年于铁在替人收债时与借贷人的女儿金佳丽一见钟情。于铁通过自己的善良、爱与执着，打开了金佳丽封闭的内心。在两人即将携手奔赴幸福之时，突如其来的意外，打断了于铁所有的计划。。李子雄，王敏德，陈欣健三人是好友，一起从香港到台湾从事一宗伪钞的买卖，不料遭到李的表哥张权陷害。另一方面，李子雄一直暗恋王的妻子，引起了陈的误会。这个复杂的关系在六年前导致王在台入狱，六年后则在香港展开了复仇行动。本片特别以"朋友妻不可戏"的内疚心理为戏剧焦点，在港产犯罪片之中则独具特色。导演王龙威的述事手法流畅，火拼场面也精彩。。Alice and Niklas are happy, they lack nothing - but a child.
