讲述了茅山豪带领徒弟秋生、文才在青龙镇开店兼营打怪。文才为娶员外女儿向师兄求助，秋生铤而走险去找传说中的黄妖借财，一人一妖不打不相识并互生爱意。青龙镇治安队长胡彪不顾茅山豪阻拦，执意要将一具古代圣物煞妖放在万国博览会展览，引得煞妖大闹警察局。茅山豪赶来援救却百密一疏，使得煞妖逃脱并血洗万国博览会。茅山豪率徒大战，奈何并非对手，危急之时黄妖现身，牺牲自己除掉圣物，拯救了青龙镇百姓。。The title of Miguel Gomes' début film is derived from the expression: 'Until the age of thirty, you have the face that God gave you, after that you have the face you deserve.'
