艾丽·里德（莉莉·汤姆林 Lily Tomlin 饰）是一个过气的诗人，又与交往4个月的女友突然分手，不愿与人往来的她还来不及感伤，18岁的孙女塞奇（朱莉娅·加纳 Julia Garner 饰）匆忙赶来，打算借钱堕胎，没钱的她只好带孙女，逐一造访久未见面的老友和前女友，这段经历人情冷暖的短暂旅程，改变了祖孙两人，也意外挖出许多秘密。。这是一部游荡于城市间的一只黑猫给我讲述的故事，这里面记载了黑猫的所见所闻，或温暖感人，或诡异冷寒，但无论怎样，我都希望能通过画面忠实的再现这一个个离奇的故事，希望这些故事，能让每一个无聊的夜晚有趣一点。。Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals? The question remains as relevant today, as it was 80 years ago, and its urgency is tragically manifested in the current event...。
