该剧讲述了性格迥异的五位发小徐卫彪、汪磊、林志华、忠余楠、张鹏在时代变革中由于各自不同的选择走上不同道路，昔日挚友站在不同的对立面，最终分道扬镳的故事。。"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。
