An army veteran who returns home to the Ozarks finds an abandoned young boy in the woods, and as she searches for clues to the boy's identity, discovers the local folklore about a spirit, which comes in the form of a child.。Bee原本是大明星，性感又有钱；Pang是草根家庭的小家碧玉。Bee的老公／男友James背着她跟Pei偷情被发现，机缘巧合Pang上了Bee的车，Bee飞车（貌似是追James或是Pei）出了车祸，两人在昏迷中灵魂对调。出院后，两个女人各自被老公／男友领回家，Pang在Bee的身体里，体验到了有钱人的生活；而Bee在Pang的身体里，却要与Guy共处蜗居。当然最难堪的还是各自要和“不认识”的男人……。
