仁华医院副院长武明训（尤勇 饰）业务能力超强，他为接老院长的班，特地赶赴美国拜访老同学心脏外科专家钟立行（谢君豪 饰），恰巧钟在为一名移植心脏出现排异的老人做手术。此时钟的妹妹因车祸不治身亡，钟立行遵妹生前遗嘱，忍痛将妹妹的心脏移植到另一位病患身上。不料，好心没有好报，患者女儿要状告钟立行违背医德。武明训趁机将钟带回国，钟的到来在全院引起巨大反响，他精湛的医术和对职业的虔诚让所有人耳目一新，完全没有国内那种为了功名投机钻营的市侩心态。接着他成了继武明训、江一丹（陈瑾 饰）之后的第三位院长候选人。曾经的同学，如今却成了影响升迁的绊脚石......。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
