Ravel finds himself incapable of writing anything, but in the process of reliving his memories, facing his old loves and failures, the composer ends up creating his greatest success ever: Boléro。《平壤之约》原名《阿里郎》，影片讲述由刘冬饰演的中国青年舞蹈家王晓楠，在民族舞蹈大会表演朝鲜民族舞蹈《铃铛》时意外失败，懊恼之际，奶奶安排她跟中朝电影交流团去平壤，并托付她去找抗美援朝时期的战友秀美。王晓楠和青年舞蹈家金银顺产生误会，为了消除误会金银顺安排她到自己家乡的农村和乡亲们见面，观摩十万人表演的团体操，经过种种周折，主人公终于实现了抗美援朝老一辈人的愿望。。这是一个没有“音乐”这样东西存在的世界故事由一名少年和神秘少女ミュウ相遇开始讲起...。
